Formation of Caban Growth Partners LLP

Written by

The Caban Group of Companies are excited to announce that we have recently formed a strategic relationship with Athene Capital LLP, who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. The relationship is geared towards supporting Caban with the rollout of our business model in the UK and elsewhere.

The Caban business model entails the assistance of entrepreneurs from concept through to a fully operational and capitalised business and has not included the provision of capital until now.

It is the intention of Caban Capital Plc and Athene Capital LLP to form a joint venture called Caban Growth Partners LLP which will pull together a vast array of corporate finance expertise and give access to a wide network of investors in the UK.

Once formed, Caban Growth will be providing the following services to Caban Investments UK:

  • Assisting with fundraising for Caban Capital Plc
  • Deal sourcing
  • Due diligence and evaluation of potential investments
  • Investment execution and portfolio monitoring
  • Exit sourcing and execution

Through Caban Growth Partners, Caban will be able to fund its activities in supporting entrepreneurs in the UK. The setting up of the partnership will pave the way for the creation of a potential Investment Fund, from where the company will be able to invest in feasible opportunities in both the UK and South Africa.

Caban Growth Partners will also assist Caban Capital Plc to obtain the necessary regulatory cover leading to the listing of the company on the 4th of September 2017.
